Terms of Service
Effective date: 1 August 2026
The service
DiveOS, built by Tafuros, provides software for running a dive center: customer registration, bookings and scheduling, boat lists, equipment tracking, retail and financial reporting. Access is provided to dive centers under an agreement with Tafuros, and to their staff through accounts the dive center controls.
Accounts
Accounts are personal. Staff must keep their credentials to themselves and use the platform only for the dive center's operations. The dive center is responsible for removing access when a staff member leaves.
The dive center's data
Everything a dive center and its customers put into DiveOS - customer records, bookings, documents, financial entries - belongs to the dive center. Tafuros processes it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy, and hands it back or deletes it if the agreement ends.
Acceptable use
- No attempts to access another center's data or another user's account.
- No use of the platform to send spam or unlawful content.
- No probing, scanning or disrupting the service.
Safety and diving decisions
DiveOS is an administrative tool. It does not make diving-safety decisions and is not a substitute for the judgment of certified professionals, training-agency standards, or local regulations. Medical declarations and waivers collected through DiveOS are records between the customer and the dive center.
Availability and changes
We work to keep DiveOS available and fast, but the service is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted operation. Features may evolve; material changes that affect a dive center's operation are communicated in advance where practical.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tafuros is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
